Platinum Insurance Build is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for an experienced Roofing Supervisor who wants greater responsibility, variety, and the opportunity to help shape a growing roofing division.

This is not a role where you’ll spend every day stuck on the tools or waiting for someone else to make decisions. You’ll be trusted to measure roofs accurately, coordinate crews and subcontractors, manage roofing projects, and resolve issues before they affect delivery.

We specialise in insurance repairs, roof replacements, and large-scale building remediation projects across South East Queensland.

Our work ranges from individual residential insurance claims to substantial, multi-trade remediation projects involving insurers, consultants, property owners, and other key stakeholders.

The Prospect

This is a varied and autonomous role combining roof measuring, project planning, crew coordination, quality control, and site supervision.

A major part of your position will be attending properties to accurately measure roofs and gather the information required to plan and deliver repair and replacement works.

You’ll also oversee roofing crews and subcontractors across multiple projects, coordinate labour and materials, monitor workmanship, and ensure each job is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.

You will have the freedom to plan your workload, manage day-to-day roofing operations, and make informed decisions. While you’ll have the support of our management and office teams, you’ll be trusted to take responsibility for outcomes without being micromanaged.

Key Responsibilities





- Attend properties and accurately measure roofs for insurance repair and replacement works
- Record roof dimensions, profiles, pitches, access requirements, damage, and site conditions
- Identify potential safety, access, material, and installation issues before works commence
- Review approved scopes and confirm site requirements
- Prepare material quantities and coordinate roofing material orders
- Plan and schedule roofing works across multiple projects
- Lead and coordinate roofing crews and subcontractors
- Allocate labour, work orders, materials, and equipment
- Conduct pre-start meetings and clearly communicate project requirements
- Monitor project progress, workmanship, productivity, and timelines
- Complete site inspections and quality checks throughout the works
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved scopes, insurer requirements, manufacturer specifications, and relevant Australian Standards
- Maintain WHS compliance and high site-safety standards
- Identify and communicate variations, delays, and issues promptly
- Maintain explicit and professional communication with clients, insurers, suppliers, trades, and the office team
- Provide regular updates on project status and upcoming resource requirements

About You

You are an experienced roofing professional who understands how to plan and deliver roofing projects—not just install them.

You can accurately measure and assess roofs, coordinate multiple crews, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and make sound decisions in the field. You’re organised, self-motivated, and comfortable taking responsibility for your projects.

Ideally, you will have:

- Proven experience as a Roofing Supervisor, Senior Roofer, Leading Hand, or Roofing Estimator
- Strong experience measuring and assessing residential and commercial roofs
- Thorough knowledge of metal roofing repairs and replacements
- Experience coordinating roofing crews and subcontractors across multiple projects




- An understanding of insurance repair processes and insurer requirements
- The ability to interpret scopes, plans, specifications, and technical documentation
- Sound knowledge of relevant building codes, Australian Standards, and manufacturer requirements
- Solid organisational and scheduling skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
- White Card
- Current driver’s licence
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets are preferred
- Residence in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast
