DEALER BUSINESS MANAGER - Eastern Region

XPENG is entering an exciting stage of growth in Australia, and we are seeking an experienced Dealer Business Manager (DBM) to support the dealer network within NSW & ACT. This key role is responsible for supporting the dealer network, building brand presence, and ensuring XPENG delivers a premium customer experience across ANZ.

ROLE SUMMARY

The DBM is responsible for leading XPENG's sales operations within NSW & ACT, driving dealer network performance, achieving sales targets, and managing inventory allocation. This role reports to the Regional General Manager and works closely with the Regional Service Manager, ANZ Marketing, and ANZ Logistics to ensure comprehensive market coverage and business growth. The DBM plays a critical role in dealer development, market expansion, and sales excellence across the district, helping establish XPENG as a leading electric vehicle brand in Australia.

Sales Performance & Target Achievement

- Drive achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets, and implement district sales strategies aligned with regional objectives
- Monitor sales performance metrics (volume, revenue, market penetration) and identify opportunities through local market and competitor analysis
- Support pricing strategy, promotional campaigns, dealer incentive programs, and new model launch activity within the district
- Manage day-to-day dealer performance and relationships, including regular visits, coaching sessions, and structured engagement programs
- Support dealer recruitment and network expansion, and monitor dealer compliance with XPENG standards
- Identify and elevate performance issues to the Regional General Manager with recommended corrective actions

Inventory & Allocation Management

- Manage district-level inventory allocation, monitor stock aging and turn rates, and coordinate with logistics for efficient distribution




- Provide inventory forecasts to support regional production planning and resolve dealer stock inquiries

Customer Experience & Compliance

- Support initiatives to improve Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) and contribute to NPS enhancement
- Coordinate with the Regional Service Manager on customer case escalations and ensure timely resolution
- Ensure all sales operations comply with Australian Consumer Law, Fair Trading Acts, and relevant industry regulations
- Provide regular performance reporting to the Regional General Manager and contribute to regional sales meetings and strategic planning
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Logistics, and ANZ headquarters teams on dealer development and market initiatives

ABOUT YOU

- Minimum 5 years' automotive sales experience, with sound understanding of dealer operations and Australian market dynamics; EV market exposure highly regarded
- Proven sales leadership experience, with the ability to develop district-level strategies, set clear performance expectations, and drive dealer teams to results
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including inventory planning and allocation, and the ability to translate market analysis into tactical decisions
- Proficiency with dealer management systems, CRM platforms, and sales reporting tools
- Working knowledge of Australian automotive regulations and consumer protection requirements
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across dealers, customers, and internal stakeholders
- A track record of managing multiple concurrent initiatives, with strong problem-solving skills for sales and dealer-level issues
