Accounts Receivable & Data Analytics - Hybrid - 7 Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced and driven Accounts Receivable & Data Analytics professional to play a pivotal role within our Finance function. This is far more than a traditional Accounts Receivable position. The primary focus of this role is the management and continuous improvement of Accounts Receivable, collections, credit management and working capital performance, while actively contributing to major finance transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end receivables and collections activities, driving debtor performance, supporting cash flow optimisation and partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding financial outcomes. In parallel, you will play a key role in the implementation of new systems, processes and ways of working through activities such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business readiness, training, process optimisation, change management and go-live support. Reporting, analytics and Power BI development will form an important supporting component of the role, enabling data-driven decision-making, operational visibility and continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations to optimise cash flow and minimise overdue receivables

Conduct customer collections through multiple channels including telephone, email, virtual meetings and customer engagement activities

Execute structured collection and dunning programs, including reminder notices, escalation activities and collection campaigns

Monitor ageing balances and proactively manage overdue accounts

Resolve payment disputes, billing discrepancies and customer queries professionally and efficiently

Prepare aged debtor reporting, collection KPIs and cash collection forecasts

Extract, cleanse, validate and analyse data from multiple business systems and data sources

Design, build,



maintain and enhance intuitive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions

Contribute to the delivery of major finance transformation initiatives and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution and business readiness activities

Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and continuous improvement

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline

Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, Finance Operations, Finance Transformation or a similar role

Proven experience of managing end-to-end Accounts Receivable, collections and dunning activities

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and financial and operational modelling

Working knowledge of Power BI reporting and dashboard development, including data modelling, dashboard maintenance and enhancement, and reporting automation

Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems

Experience in analysing, cleansing and transforming large datasets

Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with robust negotiation and influencing abilities

Outstanding customer engagement and relationship management capability
