As a Medical Scientist – Continuous Shift, you’ll perform scientific analyses across Transfusion Medicine, Haematology, Chemical Pathology and Microbiology, providing essential pathology services to the Mount Isa community and surrounding region. Working as part of a continuous shift roster, you’ll take responsibility for all aspects of laboratory services outside normal hours, working with a high level of skilled autonomy and without on-site supervision. You’ll report to the Supervising Scientist and play an important role in ensuring a safe, responsive and high-quality service around the clock.
