Towing Operations Allocator/Dispatcher (PM Shift)

About the role

Alpha Heavy Towing is seeking dedicated and reliable Dispatcher/Allocator to join our Kemps Creek team.

In this full-time PM shift role, you will be responsible for the efficient allocation and coordination of our heavy vehicle fleet , ensuring timely and reliable towing services for our clients throughout NSW region.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and manage the real-time status of jobs and trucks
- Allocate jobs and dispatch drivers based on location, truck type and availability
- Communicate with drivers and customers, providing clear updates and ETAs
- Price jobs and accurately enter job details into our systems
- Coordinate multiple jobs and trucks at the same time
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, delays and changes during the shift
- Monitor driver movements and ensure jobs are progressing as required
- Liaise with customers, workshops, transport companies and other stakeholders
- Ensure all job information is accurately recorded and updated





What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in transport allocation, dispatch or logistics coordination
- MUST have strong knowledge of Sydney suburbs and roads
- Knowledge of different truck types and combinations .
- Mechanically minded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work weekends when required
- A passion for customer service and keeping trucks moving
