We are looking for a passionate and hard working
casual cook or chef
to join our team at The Lake Illawarra Hotel. You will be working in a kitchen with a team of fun and positive chefs.
We want someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and a growth mindset. We are passionate about producing excellent food, from pub classics to fresh, seasonal specials.
This is a casual role, with around * hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience
Experience as a Cook/Chef is required
Cooking in all sections
Understanding of stock control and waste minimisation
Knowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safety
Food Safety Certificate
Tasks and Responsibilities
Cooking pub/hotel food in accordance with the menu and standards
Placing food orders as required
Ensure health and safety regulations and allergen control
