Installation Team Leads – Christmas & Events

Visual Empire is a Sydney-based visual merchandising and events business delivering large-scale Christmas, seasonal and commercial installations for major shopping centres, property groups and entertainment venues.

We are looking for experienced Installation Team Leads to supervise and work alongside our seasonal installation crews.

The role

You will:

- Lead teams of casual installers on site
- Work hands-on with the crew
- Read and follow plans, drawings and installation briefs
- Allocate tasks and keep jobs moving efficiently
- Maintain installation quality and presentation standards
- Coordinate loading, unloading and basic site logistics
- Troubleshoot problems on site
- Communicate with Visual Empire management
- Assist with dismantles and pack-downs
- Help train and support newer installers

About you

We are looking for people who are:

- Reliable and organised
- Practical and hands-on
- Confident leading a crew




- Comfortable solving problems independently
- Physically capable of installation work
- Comfortable working evening, overnight and weekend shifts

Relevant experience may include:

- Events and activations
- Visual merchandising
- Exhibitions
- Staging or set building
- Shopfitting
- Construction
- Signage
- Commercial installations
- Warehouse/logistics
- Leading hand or site supervision

A driver's licence is highly desirable. EWP, Working at Heights, White Card or similar tickets are advantageous.

Hours

Our busiest period is October to January. Many commercial installations take place after trading hours, often starting around 4:30–5:30 pm and finishing late at night or early morning .
