Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).

What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, effective and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

About You

You are a Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You bring demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge, and clinical capability gained within an acute hospital environment, enabling you to deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care. Your strong clinical problem-solving abilities allow you to assess changing patient needs, make sound clinical decisions, and contribute to positive patient outcomes.

You communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams through well-developed written, verbal, interpersonal, and information technology skills. You have the ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care within a collaborative team environment, ensuring care is outcome-focused and aligned with best practice standards.

Your high level of clinical expertise in the perioperative setting, including trauma care, enables you to work confidently in complex and fast-paced environments while maintaining a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. You are adaptable, resilient,



and committed to supporting service delivery through participation in a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and on-call requirements. Through your professionalism, clinical competence, and dedication to continuous improvement, you consistently contribute to achieving exceptional patient care outcomes.
