PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

The primary objective of the forklift driver is to perform general forklift duties required by production.

Positions available: 2
Shift: Shift times are currently being finalised. Applicants must be flexible to work across different shift times based on operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Forklift duties

- Move pallets to the required area to be stored
- Emptying and condensing rubbish in bins
- Ensure pre-operational reports are completed on forklifts prior to operation
- Operate trucks as required, or be willing to undertake training and obtain the appropriate licence to drive trucks
- Other general forklift duties as required

Quality

- Work in accordance with valuable manufacturing practices.
- Practice good hygiene & sanitation procedures.
- Contribute towards good housekeeping at all times
- Complete forms/ check sheets as directed.

OHS Systems





- Report any incidents/ accidents or near misses &/or hazards in a timely manner.
- Be diligent in adhering to safe work practices and company policies
- Take reasonable care of own and other employees health and safety

Production

- Work as directed by the teams management and in accordance with Company policies,
procedures and work instructions
- Responsibilities as defined by the Hazeldene’s Processing Collective Agreement
- Cooperate with continuous improvement initiatives
