Accounts Officer – Fluency in Mandarin is essential

We are a growing Sydney-based group with interests in property development, construction and building materials trading. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Accounts & Finance Officer to support our day-to-day finance and selected operational functions.

About the Role

Reporting directly to management, you will be responsible for daily accounting tasks and assisting with operational activities across the group.

Key responsibilities

- Day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks using Xero.
- Payroll processing in Xero
- Prepare budgets, cash-flow forecasts and financial reports.
- Assist with BAS preparation.
- Prepare and organise documents for residential, commercial and construction loan applications
- Liaise with banks, brokers, lenders, suppliers and internal team members

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- At least 1 year of relevant accounting, bookkeeping, finance or administration experience
- Practical experience in Xero.
- Practical experience in day-to-day business operations.
- A responsible and proactive attitude
- The legal right to work in Australia
