We are working with a national firm who is experiencing significant growth and looking to expand their property disputes team in Sydney.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to work in an established litigation practice specialising in commercial and property disputes. You will work closely with a highly regarded partner on a broad range of property and development disputes, leasing, strata law, land contract and access to land issues.

Key responsibilities
n

Provide advice and manage files in a transparent and logical manner within required timeframes whilst developing sound case management strategies
n
Draft,



engross and settle varied types of advices and legal correspondence
n
Drafting pleadings
n
Appear in Court for call-overs, directions hearings, motions or to instruct Counsel
n
Speak to witnesses and briefing experts
n
Attend Mediations and Settlement Conferences
n
n
About you
n
n
5+ years PQE in property disputes or commercial litigation
n
Law degree and admission to practice in Recent South Wales with a current, unrestricted practicing certificate
n
Good understanding of court practices and procedures
n
Ability to draft legal documentation with strong attention to detail
n
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and autonomously as and when required
n
Proven ability to prioritise workload within a busy environment and meet deadlines
n
Exceptional communication skills both with your colleagues and clients
