Responsibilities

- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
- Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Monitor and record changes in clients' health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications

- Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
- Solid ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents,



and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
- A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one.
- Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care.
- Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, confident, and empathetic NDIS Home Care Worker to provide high-quality morning care for an NDIS participant living in Umina Beach.

This role is a rewarding blend of home care and active community participation. You will play a key role in helping the client start their day effectively, maintaining a structured routine, and driving them out into the community. Because this role includes Behavioural Support, we are looking for a carer who is calm under pressure, understands positive behaviour support strategies, and excels at building strong, trusting boundaries.
