Hastings Electrical is an independently owned electrical wholesaler specialising in industrial electrical products. Based in Glendenning, we operate a large branch servicing customers throughout Sydney, with a strong focus on quick, reliable service and same-day delivery.

We are looking for the right person to join our Internal Sales team.

This is a hands‑on customer service and sales role. You'll work directly with our customers, suppliers, warehouse and delivery team to ensure enquiries and orders are handled quickly, accurately and professionally.

The Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Handling customer enquiries by phone and email
- Preparing quotations and processing sales orders
- Sourcing products and pricing from suppliers
- Following up customer enquiries and quotations
- Assisting customers with product selection and availability
- Working closely with our warehouse and delivery team
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Helping ensure orders are processed efficiently for same-day delivery
- General sales administration and other duties reasonably required

About You

We're looking for someone who communicates well,



enjoys dealing with customers and wants to become an integral part of our team.

You will ideally have:

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence speaking with customers and suppliers
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- The ability to organise and prioritise your workload
- A willingness to learn products and develop your knowledge
- A practical approach to solving customer problems
- The ability to work well as part of a busy team

Electrical wholesale experience is preferred.
