We are looking for a Cook to join the team at Eva Downs Station. Eva Downs Station borders the western side of Anthony Lagoon and is located approximately 300 km north-east of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory. The station operates a breeding, backgrounding and trading enterprise, producing high-quality Brahman cross cattle that are predominantly turned off for the live export market.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely perform your job and take responsibility for your secure work behaviour.
- Menu planning, food preparation and cooking.
- Prepare a variety of Lunch and morning tea and ensure it’s placed out for staff to take.
- Ensure nutritious meals are prepared for station staff and visitors as required.
- Keep a clean, hygienic kitchen and dining room, ensuring floors are swept and mopped.
- Prepare grocery lists and maintain adequate supplies.
- Maintain kitchen utensils and assist with the packing of meat for the kitchen.

Required Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Current driver's licence.
- Experience in managing a kitchen and providing meals to schedule.
- An understanding of dietary nutrition and food hygiene.




- High level of organisational skills to plan meals.
- Be prepared to live and work in a remote location.
