We seek an enthusiastic motor mechanic to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. Working as part of our broader Service Department you will undertake vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repair work.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose defective components using tools like scanning devices as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance services (major and minor) including logbook services, to ensure vehicles run smoothly and meet manufacture specifications
- Inspect and test mechanical parts after repairs to ensure proper functioning
- Repair damaged parts and reassemble mechanical components, consulting services manuals as needed
- Identify health and safety protocols and procedures, including safe handling of hazardous oils, fluids, greases and machinery
- Maintain, repair and test engines and mechanical systems in lightweight vehicles, such as suspension, steering, brakes and transmission
- Adhere to environmental regulations by trapping,



storing and disposing of lubricants and fluids in compliance with guidelines

About you

- AQF Certificate III in Automotive or higher
- At least 12 months of work experience
- Solid technical skills in vehicle repair and maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service
- Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
