We are currently seeking an experienced Site / Project Coordinator to join a well-established construction subcontractor working across major data centre projects in Western Sydney .
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on construction professional who enjoys being close to the action and wants to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a major project.
The position offers an immediate start , with the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent for the right person .
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administration and delivery requirements across the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day coordination and administrative support to the Project and Site Teams
- Coordinating project documentation, registers and reporting
- Assisting with subcontractor and supplier coordination
- Managing RFIs, transmittals, correspondence and project records
- Supporting procurement, purchase orders and material deliveries
- Coordinating site meetings, minutes and action items
- Assisting with project scheduling and tracking key project milestones
- Coordinating timesheets, site attendance and onboarding requirements
- Supporting WHS, QA and compliance documentation
- Assisting with variations, progress claims and project cost tracking
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring project documentation is accurate,
up to date and easily accessible
- Providing general coordination support to keep the project moving efficiently
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy, site-based construction workplace.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Site Coordinator, Project Administrator or Site Administrator
- Experience working for a construction contractor or subcontractor
- Strong understanding of construction project processes and site administration
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience with systems such as Procore, Aconex, HammerTech or similar will be highly regarded
- A proactive, hands‑on approach and willingness to get involved across all areas of the project
- Current White Card and driver's licence
