CBased Environmental has a position available for a full time Environmental Monitoring Field Technician to undertake environmental monitoring tasks including air quality and water sampling, data retrieval, equipment maintenance and calibration of monitoring equipment. This is a new role in the business and has been created due to increasing workloads in the Gunnedah Region.

The position will be based in the Gunnedah region, however occasional workthroughout NSW will be required.

- Currently living in Gunnedah or near surrounding region ( within 30 minutes).
- Be willing and able to pass pre employment medicals,



noting we have a no-tolerance drug and alcohol policy (with random testing).

To be successful in this role the applicant will require good maths and literacy skills,a strong work ethic, experience working in remote outdoor environments, be able to work independently and be willing to undertake field sampling activities in mining, rural and industrial environments.

No prior experience is required to apply for the role with training in the company's procedures by our experienced and friendly field staff to make sure the successful applicant can complete all tasks in a protected, accurate and efficient manner.

Prior experience in an environmental monitoring role and exposure to work in the mining or heavy industry environmentis desirable but definitely not essential.

Remuneration is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
