Central NSW | Full time / Contract | Competitive Hourly Rate

SCS Australia requires applications from experienced Surveyors who can manage the complete workflow from field data capture through to finished survey models and machine-ready files.

This role would suit applicants with strong civil, mining or earthworks experience who is comfortable working independently across UAV surveying, 3D modelling, volumetrics and machine-control systems.

The Role:

- UAV/drone surveying and aerial data capture
- LiDAR and photogrammetry surveys
- Establishing and maintaining survey control
- RTK/GNSS surveying
- Stockpile and earthworks volume calculations
- Cut/fill and progress surveys
- DTM, DSM and surface generation
- 3D terrain and design modelling
- Preparing machine-control and guidance files
- Uploading and managing designs in Trimble and Topcon systems
- Machine localisation, calibration and QA
- Weekly/fortnightly volume and progress reporting
- Producing updated site imagery, maps and survey deliverables




- Working with site teams to ensure machines are operating from current and accurate designs
- Supporting design and planning work where required

What We're Looking For:

- 12d Model and/or 12d Field
- Trimble Business Center
- Trimble Access
- Trimble GNSS equipment
- UAV photogrammetry and/or LiDAR
- Civil or mining earthworks
- Machine guidance and 3D machine-control models
- Volume calculations and progress reporting
- Survey control and site localisation
- Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Virtual Surveyor, Agisoft, Pix4D or similar software would also be highly regarded.

About You:

We are looking for someone who can take a project from:

Drone / field survey, point cloud, surface/model, volumes , machine-control files, machine QA

You need to be practical, technically capable and comfortable working directly with operators, supervisors and project teams.
