About the role

We're looking for an Accounts Payable and Billing Officer to join our Perth Finance team. Based in our Welshpool office, you'll take the lead on day-to-day supplier invoice processing and payment preparation, while also supporting customer billing and other finance activities.

Key responsibilities

- Match, code and enter supplier invoices and credit notes, and prepare weekly and urgent payments.
- Manage the accounts inbox and respond to supplier and internal queries.
- Maintain vendor details and reconcile credit card, travel, cab and employee expense transactions.
- Prepare and send customer invoices, and assist with payment follow-up.
- Support month-end activities, including bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Work with colleagues to investigate and resolve discrepancies, and help keep finance procedures up to date.




- Assist the team with monthly payroll activities when required.

What you'll bring

- At least one year of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role; two to three years is ideal.
- Experience using a financial or ERP system, such as MYOB, SAP, Oracle or Acumatica.
- A sound understanding of accounts payable processes and strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Transparent communication skills and a helpful approach to working with suppliers and colleagues.
- The ability to manage competing tasks, meet deadlines and resolve payment queries.

A qualification in business, accounting, finance or a related field would be valued.
