Job Description
As Head of Structural Landscaping, you will work directly with the owner of Alto Landscaping and take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of landscape construction projects. This is a senior, hands-on position for an experienced landscape construction professional who can confidently take responsibility for projects from site set-out through to completion, while leading and developing a small construction team.

Key responsibilities

Leading landscape construction projects on site
n
Managing tradespeople, landscapers and apprentices
n
Planning daily and weekly construction activities
n
Site set-out, levels and construction sequencing
n
Excavation and earthworks
n
Operating excavators, mini loaders and landscaping machinery
n
Retaining walls, drainage and irrigation infrastructure
n
Steel garden edging, welding and fabrication
n
Timber construction, raised vegetable and garden beds
n
Paving and pathway construction, turf and soil preparation
n

About you
n
n
Certificate III in Landscape Construction or higher
n
Minimum 5 years' landscape construction industry experience
n
Strong structural landscaping experience
n




Experience supervising or leading staff on site
n
Current driver's licence
n
White Card
n
Solid understanding of construction plans, measurements, levels and set-out
n
Ability to independently organise and deliver landscaping projects to a high standard
n
Experience in excavation, machinery operation, welding, carpentry, drainage, irrigation, paving and retaining wall construction
n
