Acoustic Installer – Carpentry & Plastering

Working as part of our installation team, you will be responsible for the installation of acoustic wall and ceiling systems, architectural acoustic panels, soundproofing systems, and plasterboard/Gyprock installation. You will perform timber framing and general carpentry work, install acoustic insulation and specialised materials, and measure, cut and prepare materials. You will read and work from drawings and installation specifications, use hand and power tools confidently, and work from ladders and access equipment where required. You will maintain clean, organised and safe work areas, coordinate with Project Managers and other trades on site, complete installations to a high standard of workmanship, and learn and apply specialised acoustic installation techniques.

Key responsibilities

- Installation of acoustic wall and ceiling systems
- Installation of architectural acoustic panels
- Construction and installation of soundproofing systems
- Timber framing and general carpentry work
- Installation of acoustic insulation and specialised materials
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
- Reading and working from drawings and installation specifications
- Using hand and power tools confidently
- Working from ladders and access equipment where required

About you

- Experience in carpentry, plastering/Gyprock, shopfitting,



commercial fit-out, ceilings, or general building construction
- Valid Construction White Card
- Full legal working rights in Australia
- Own basic tools
- Appropriate PPE
- Good experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to measure and complete installation work accurately
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to follow drawings, specifications and instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
