We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our retail store. This is a hands-on management position suited to someone who has solid retail experience, enjoys leading a team and can effectively manage sales, stock, customer service and overall store performance.

Key responsibilities

Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store.

Determining appropriate product ranges, stock levels and customer service standards.

Monitoring stock movement and maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet customer demand.

Coordinating purchasing and ordering of stock and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers.

Reviewing product pricing, margins and sales performance and assisting with pricing decisions.

Planning and implementing store promotions and local marketing activities to increase sales and customer engagement.

Monitoring daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and identifying opportunities to improve store results.

Recruiting, training, rostering,



supervising and supporting retail staff.

Establishing and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and other applicable store procedures.

About you

At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail management or a similar supervisory/management position.

Demonstrated experience supervising and supporting retail staff.

Good understanding of retail operations, stock control and inventory management.

Experience with ordering, merchandising and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

Strong customer service and complaint-resolution skills.

Ability to monitor sales performance and work towards store targets.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead, motivate and develop a retail team.

Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the overall operation of the store.
