We are an award-winning national law firm that specialises in property, development, commercial law, and strata and community titles. Our Brisbane practice is looking for an experienced paralegal to join our team.

You will be supporting a small and collaborative team of lawyers and will work with industry-leading property developers, property investors and strata stakeholders.

The role is full time and based in our brand current Brisbane office at 120 Edward Street.

Responsibilities

- Assisting with development work, including drafting contracts for sale, by-laws and titling documents
- Assisting with our developer off the plan conveyancing practice (conveyancing experience is plus but not essential)
- Preparing by-law consolidations
- Organising and keeping up to date document precedents
- Working with the disputes team on litigation matters, including preparing court documents, putting together briefs and exhibits
- Conducting online searches such as title and company searches
- Assisting with preparing fee proposals;
- Assisting with research;
- Assisting the lawyers you support and our office manager with end of month billing (if needed);
- Attending local courts to file documents; and
- Other general administrative duties as directed by the legal staff.

Skills & Experience

- Experience working in a law firm (required)




- Experience working on property / real estate related matters
- An organised and meticulous approach to your work
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills required for maintaining a positive team environment
