Stripes Civil are seeking an experienced and motivated Pipelayer to join our growing civil construction team. Working across a variety of infrastructure and subdivision projects, you will be responsible for the installation of stormwater, sewer, water reticulation pipelines while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

- Install and connect pipework including stormwater, sewer, and water mains.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Set out and maintain pipe grades and levels.
- Install pits, manholes, culverts, and associated drainage structures.
- Work alongside excavator operators and civil construction crews.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

About you

- Previous experience as a Pipelayer within the civil construction industry.




- Ability to read plans and understand levels and grades.
- Strong understanding of trenching and excavation safety requirements.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Ability to work effectively within a team workplace.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Pipe laser experience (Highly regarded)
- Confined Space Entry Ticket (highly regarded).
- Excavator, Roller, Loader or other plant operator tickets (highly regarded).
