We're looking for an energetic and customer-focused Internal Sales & Customer Service Officer to become a key member of our Hume team.

This is more than a customer service role. It's an opportunity to develop your sales skills, build industry knowledge, contribute to branch growth, and establish a long-term career with a successful Australian business.

What You'll Be Doing

As the face and voice of Bitek, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting sales growth across the branch.

You'll be responsible for:

- Building strong relationships with trade and wholesale customers

- Providing exceptional service across the trade counter, phone and email

- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Assisting customers with product selection, pricing and availability

- Supporting external sales representatives and helping convert opportunities into sales





- Working closely with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure customer requirements are met

- Following up quotations and proactively identifying sales opportunities

- Contributing to new business development and branch growth initiatives

- Maintaining accurate customer and CRM records

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

Customer-focused and enjoys helping people

Motivated by achieving results and growing sales

Confident communicating with a wide range of customers

Well organised with strong attention to detail

Positive, reliable and committed to being part of a successful team

Preferred Experience

- Internal sales, customer service, trade counter or wholesale experience

- Experience processing sales orders and customer enquiries

- Strong computer skills and confidence using ERP or CRM systems

- Experience with MYOB Advanced (advantageous but not essential)

- Experience in electrical, security, AV, data or related industries will be highly regarded
