The Livestock Administration Officer is ideal for an early-career administrator who will be responsible for providing accurate and timely administrative support to the livestock procurement and operations functions. The role ensures livestock purchasing, processing, invoicing, transport costing, and producer communications are maintained efficiently and accurately to support business operations and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

- Create and maintain livestock kill sheets, ensuring all data is accurately captured and recorded
- Update and maintain skin price information and other associated livestock processing data
- Distribute kill sheets and related reports to livestock producers and farmers in a timely manner
- Ensure livestock transaction records are accurate and completed within required timeframes
- Compile livestock summaries, transport costs, and related data for inclusion in weekly costing reports




- Complete end-of-week livestock reconciliations and costing requirements
- Match livestock invoices against kill numbers and procurement records to ensure accuracy
- Reconcile livestock purchases, market buys, transport expenses, and associated charges
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase records, and processing data
- Process and reconcile market livestock purchases
