About The Role

Being a Payroll Officer with Prosperity is the perfect opportunity to develop your payroll career, as you will work with various software platforms, modern awards, and client processes.

We offer the opportunity to work as a hybrid arrangement to allow for flexibility.

You will work as an integral member of the vibrant payroll team, ensuring the highest standard of service is provided to our payroll clients.





Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

- End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a range of outsourced clients
- Reviewing payroll data processed by other team members to ensure accuracy and legislative compliance
- Providing timely and professional responses to client payroll queries
- Delivering strong customer service to both clients and internal stakeholders
- Assisting colleagues with interpretation of awards, agreements, and payroll legislation

About You

You bring proven experience in payroll, related accounting functions, along with proficiency in banking and financial systems. Your attention to detail and system knowledge will support your success in this role.

We're looking for someone who is:

- 1 - 2 years of payroll processing experience
- Experience using Employment Hero, Xero or other payroll platforms
- Confidence interpreting and applying multiple awards and agreements
- Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A solid commitment to client service excellence
