Charlton Christian College is seeking caring and committed Learning Support Assistants to join our Learning Support Teams. This is a fantastic chance for enthusiastic educators with a heart for helping students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and in their faith.

Our Assistants work closely with Teachers and Learning Support Coordinators. These positions assist with additional learning and support needs by delivering individual, small group and in-class support.

About the Roles

Multiple positions available for commencement in Term 1, 2027

4 days/week in Primary School (Years K–6)

Multiple opportunities in Secondary School (Years 7-12) - 3, 4 or 5 days per week during term time

Work is in school hours

Mix of 1:1, classroom, and small group student support





Applicants should indicate their preference for primary or secondary and maximum number of available workdays per week

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and regular attendance in a local Christian church

A passion for working with young people and helping them achieve their potential

Sound literacy and numeracy skills to support student learning

Proven ability to build rapport with children and maintain professional boundaries

NSW Working with Children Check and commitment to child safety

Working with people

Planning and organising

Adapting and responding to change

Presenting and communicating information
