Aircraft Trimmer / Upholstery Technician

ALG is seeking an experienced Trimmer/Upholstery Technician to join a leading aviation organisation based at Tullamarine Airport.

This role involves trimming and upholstery work on aircraft interiors, ULD curtains and similar components.

About the Role

- Cutting and preparing fabrics and materials
- Sewing and stitching
- Gluing and bonding
- Upholstery and trimming
- Repairing and fitting interior components
- Working with fabrics, vinyl, leather and similar materials
- Following technical and quality requirements

About You

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

- Aircraft, automotive or marine trimming
- Upholstery or similar hands-on trades
- Industrial sewing and fabric cutting
- Gluing and finishing techniques
- Working accurately to specifications





Previous aviation experience is not essential. Candidates from automotive, marine or general upholstery backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

- - A Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology (AUR32312) or an equivalent qualification is required for candidates to be considered for an AME position.
- - Candidates with the required skills and experience but without the relevant qualification may be considered for a TA position.
