The Role

Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts, you'll play an important part in maintaining cash flow, minimising credit risk and supporting positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing collections and aged debt across a portfolio of customer accounts

- Reviewing customer credit applications and supporting credit approval processes

- Monitoring customer credit limits and assisting with credit risk management

- Following up outstanding invoices and negotiating payment outcomes

- Investigating and resolving billing and account disputes

- Working closely with operational teams to remove barriers to payment

- Processing account holds, releases and customer account updates

- Maintaining accurate collection records and account information





- Supporting broader Accounts Receivable and Credit activities as required

This is a genuine end-to-end role where you'll see the full customer lifecycle rather than just one piece of the process.

About You

We're specifically looking for someone who is early in their Credit or AR career and ready for more responsibility.

You’ll likely have:

- Around 1-2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Control or a similar finance role

- Experience managing customer accounts and following up overdue payments

- A solid understanding of the Accounts Receivable process

- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer interactions

- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail

- A genuine interest in developing a career within Credit and Finance

You don't need years of Credit Control experience.

What matters most is having a good foundation, a willingness to learn and the desire to expand your skill set beyond a purely collections-focused position.
