Yatala Depot | South Brisbane & Northern Gold Coast

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grounds Maintenance Team Lead to join our growing grounds maintenance team based out of our Yatala depot , servicing sites across Southern Brisbane and the Northern Gold Coast .

About the Role

This role involves leading a small crew across a range of commercial and government maintenance contracts, ensuring all gardens and landscaped areas are maintained to a high standard. You’ll be working across varied sites, operating equipment, coordinating daily tasks, and helping deliver reliable and professional grounds maintenance services.

Daily duties include:

- Lawn mowing and edging
- Hedging and pruning
- Whipper snipping
- Weed spraying and control
- General landscaping and garden maintenance
- Operating and maintaining equipment safely
- Leading and supervising a small team
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Minimum 3 years’ experience in horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred
- Current White Card
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence
- Solid knowledge of garden and turf maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently and lead by example
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused attitude

Highly Regarded

- ACDC Licence
- Certificate III in Horticulture or similar qualification
