An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced APS5 Payroll Officer to join a Federal Government agency based in Canberra. A ongoing opportunity has arisen in a Federal Government Agency that truly makes a impact.

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services while providing advice on payroll-related matters. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office-based and work from home.

APS5 Payroll Officer – Canberra / Sydney | Hybrid Working Arrangement

- Demonstrated APS payroll experience
- Strong working knowledge of the Aurion payroll system
- Experience processing payroll transactions, leave, allowances and employee movements
- Sound understanding of APS employment conditions and payroll legislation
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
