The Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Fire Equipment Technician to join our Melbourne team.

This is a hands‑on role servicing portable fire equipment and essential fire safety systems across a variety of commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Service and test portable fire equipment (extinguishers, fire blankets, etc.)
- Conduct hose reel and unpumped hydrant testing
- Perform access & egress inspections
- Test fire and exit doors
- Inspect emergency and exit lighting systems
- Complete reports using digital system (Uptick)

About You





- Minimum 6 months experience in fire protection or portable equipment servicing (desirable)
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Current Working With Children Check
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Valuable communication and attention to detail
- Applicants must have full unrestricted working rights in Australia

Desirable (Not Essential)

- Experience with Uptick
- VBA registration (unpumped hydrants)
- Working With Children Check & Police Check
- Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1851 etc.)
