City Finance is looking for an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join on a part-time basis (3 days per week). Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, this is a hands-on role where you'll own the compliance function day-to-day - conducting monthly reviews, managing AFCA complaints, monitoring regulatory change, and keeping the risk register and internal controls current. This role suits someone who knows consumer credit compliance inside out, is comfortable working independently, and takes real pride in getting the details right.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct monthly compliance reviews across LACC, SACC, and MACC lending products
- Review loan files, credit assessments, and responsible lending inquiries for NCCP compliance
- Prepare and deliver monthly compliance reports to the Head of Compliance
- Monitor ASIC regulatory guides, NCCP amendments, and Treasury consultations
- Manage end-to-end AFCA complaint handling - responses, position papers, and outcomes
- Maintain and update the Risk Register and conduct periodic internal audits and assurance reviews
- Develop and implement compliance controls, policies,



and procedures
- Develop and deliver compliance training for lending, collections, and reception teams
- Support onboarding compliance inductions for current staff
- Act as the go-to person for staff compliance queries

About you

- Solid experience in compliance within the consumer credit or financial services sector
- Strong working knowledge of the NCCP Act, ASIC regulatory guides, and responsible lending obligations
- Familiarity with LACC, SACC, and MACC lending products
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload across a 3-day week
- High attention to detail and strong written communication skills
- Experience with TMD obligations and regulatory change management is highly regarded
