Workfast is seeking experienced, trade-qualified
Specialised Pipe Welders
for an immediate start on a heavy industrial project in
Port Kembla
.
This role involves high-pressure pipework and offers consistent rostered hours through to late November , with potential extensions running through late / early .
Roster & Hours
Monday – Friday:
6:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday:
6:00am – 2:00pm
Shift:
Day shift with steady overtime hours available
Key Requirements
Experience:
Demonstrated background with high-pressure piping applications (Required).
Weld Testing:
Ability to pass GTAW (TIG) and FCAW (Flux-Core) weld qualification tests to
AS
standard prior to commencement (Required).
White Card:
Valid Construction Induction Card.
Working at Heights:
Valid ticket (Required).
Site Compliance:
Ability to pass pre-employment and random in office Drug & Alcohol testing.




Preferred Tickets & Experience
High Risk Work License – EWP Boom (>11m / WP Ticket).
Previous experience in heavy industry, mining, or oil & gas settings.
