The Bowman Dental Group are recruiting for Bowman Dental Practice and Creating Great Smiles Orthodontic Practice, two well-established practices based in Bathurst, NSW.

Due to ongoing growth, we are now seeking confident, motivated and patient focused Dental Assistants to join our close-knit team. Casual positions are available with the potential for Full Time or Permanent Part-time roles. The position would suit either experienced Dental Assistants or little to no experience and full training will be provided. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills looking to enter the dental industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Dental Assistant, the role is varied, fast paced and focused on providing the highest quality care for our patients. Core duties will include but are not limited to:

- Delivering excellent patient care to build strong working relationships and to ensure patients are comfortable and well-informed
- Assisting the Dentists and Orthodontist with in-chair procedures and updating patient charts with accurate and detailed notes




- Conducting instrument sterilisation and infection control practices
- Assisting with front office duties such as booking appointments as required
- Following all Work Health and Safety policies and procedures of the Practice, ensuring patient confidentiality is always maintained

- Enjoy a hands-on role and have a strong interest in the dental industry
- Previous dental experience is advantageous but not essential
