Associate Director, Investor Relations - Private Wealth

Capstone have partnered with an established real estate investment and private credit platform who are seeking an Associate Director to join their Investor Relations team. The business manages a range of real estate debt funds and direct investment opportunities, working with private investors, family offices, wealth management groups and high-net-worth individuals.

Working closely with the Head of Investor Relations and senior investment professionals, this is a broad role spanning capital raising, investor engagement, new investor origination and investment product development.

Importantly, the successful candidate will inherit an established and substantial book of private wealth investors, providing an immediate platform of existing relationships to manage and develop, while also being responsible for expanding the investor network through new channels.

This opportunity will particularly suit someone who enjoys the combination of investor relationships, capital raising and investment product, rather than a role focused purely on sales or distribution.

The Role

You will take responsibility for an established portfolio of private wealth investor relationships, while continuing to grow the investor base and support capital raising across the group's managed funds and direct investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Inherit and manage a substantial existing book of private wealth investors, with a focus on relationship development and ongoing engagement
- Build new relationships across family offices, HNW investors, wealth management groups and other private capital channels
- Originate and develop new investor and distribution channels
- Support the planning and execution of capital raising strategies
- Engage with existing investors, providing investment updates and responding to enquiries
- Lead the preparation of offer documents and investor communications for fund raises and direct investment opportunities




- Prepare and review investor reporting, market commentary and investment updates
- Work with senior stakeholders on the development and launch of new investment products
- Prepare investment and product materials, including Information Memorandums, fund collateral and other offer documentation
- Assist with investor onboarding, compliance documentation and post-capital raising processes
- Work collaboratively across investment, origination, funds management, finance, legal and corporate development teams

About You

Ideally operating around Associate Director level, you will bring experience within funds management, private markets, wealth management, investment management or a related financial services environment.

You will ideally have:

- Strong exposure to private clients, HNW investors, family offices and/or wealth management channels
- Demonstrated experience in capital raising and investor relationship management
- Strong investment product knowledge and the ability to understand and clearly communicate investment opportunities
- Experience contributing to new product development and investment positioning
- Exposure to preparing Information Memorandums, offer documents, investor presentations and reporting
- Strong commercial communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work effectively with investment, funds management, finance and legal professionals
- A genuine interest in real estate investment and private credit
