What You'll Lead:

Technology Strategy & Architecture

- Define and lead APNIC's technology vision and roadmap.
- Ensure platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, and future-focused.
- Drive modernisation, investment planning, and management of technology risk and technical debt.

Products & Engineering

- Guide strategic product direction across member, registry, and information services.
- Foster modern engineering practices and innovation.
- Balance delivery priorities with organisational capability, sustainability, and value creation.

Data & Information Governance

- Establish enterprise-wide data governance and information management strategies.
- Champion data quality, accessibility, stewardship, and business intelligence capability.
- Enable data-driven decision making across the organisation.

Information Security

- Provide executive accountability for cybersecurity and information security.
- Oversee governance frameworks, risk management, incident preparedness, and ISO 27001-aligned practices.
- Embed security and privacy by design across all technology services.





Industry Leadership

- Represent APNIC within regional and global technical communities.
- Collaborate with Internet industry stakeholders and partner organisations on issues of strategic importance.

About You

You are a respected technology executive who combines strategic thinking with strong technical depth and a collaborative leadership style.
You’ll bring:

- 15+ years of senior technology leadership experience.
- A proven track record leading architecture, infrastructure, software engineering, security, DevOps, and data functions.
- Strong experience developing and executing enterprise technology and information strategies.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, governance, and modern product delivery practices.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to translate complex technical challenges into meaningful business outcomes.

Experience within Internet technologies

IP addressing, routing, security, IPv6, telecommunications, or Internet infrastructure environments will be highly regarded.
