Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. This shift to clean energy—and the need for commodities—is critical to underpinning the energy transition. At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net zero in a way which is more sustainable than ever before.

Job Summary:

This role, will support multiple projects by performing technical or commercial logistics work. Being responsible for domestic and international multi-leg shipments with both internal and external entities, ensuring protected, timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements. This work will help ensure project requirements are satisfied in accordance with policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

- Integrating Bechtel and Project Safety requirements and measurements into all Logistics tasks, activities.
- Performing domestic and international multi-leg shipment responsibilities in support of project requirements to ensure the safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements.
- Coordinating international / domestic shipments with internal and external stakeholders,



entities to ensure the safe and timely delivery of materials and equipment from supplier’s facilities to destination.
- Preparing logistics reports or performance metrics as required to satisfy project information requirements.
- Timely entering of shipment milestones dates and shipping tracking information into Bechtel Digital Supply Chain Systems (DSCS) and the related Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Identifying transport cost and service alternatives to support materials/equipment purchase decisions and use of Logistics Service Providers.
- Preparing Logistics Service Provider commercial bid tabs, commitment authorizations and contract documents.
- Preparing logistics studies including site and Logistics Service Provider facility visits.
- Assisting with filing and resolution of Logistics Service Provider claims.
- Integrating all Bechtel Global Logistics tasks with daily Supply Chain tasks and objectives.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Relevant experience in the execution of project logistics for large industrial projects.
- Thorough understanding of multi-modal logistics markets,



world-wide trade-lanes in the context of developing analysis and supporting decision-making ability with the work process to transport and deliver critical materials and equipment to the project.
- Ability to multi-task, manage high pressure conditions with tight schedule requirements for complex problem scenarios.
- International & Domestic Trade and Commerce as it relates to executing logistics for large capex industrial projects.
- Import/Export Compliance.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of general and special/overdimensional truck transport technical specification and requirements.
