Job Description
This high growth, Real Estate Investment Funds business is seeking a high-calibre Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team and take genuine ownership of financial, management and statutory reporting across its funds and management entities.

This is not a processing role. You'll have end-to-end accountability for reporting cycles across multiple entities and mandates, act as a key escalation point for technical accounting matters, and work closely with senior stakeholders to improve processes, controls and financial performance.

The Role

You'll take ownership of:
n
n
Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting across multiple entities
n
Consolidated P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
n
Statutory accounts and year-end audit management
n
Fund forecasting, working capital and equity funding requirements
n
Tax, BAS and compliance reporting
n




Fee calculations and revenue reporting across acquisitions, asset management, development and leasing
n
Oversight of external finance and property service providers
n
Finance process, systems and control improvements
n

The Person
n
You'll bring 4+ years' relevant accounting experience, solid technical capability and the confidence to operate autonomously across multiple priorities.
n Real estate, funds or property accounting experience is preferred, along with robust analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and capital partners.
n
