Charterhouse Medical is recruiting a Consultant/Specialist/VMO Psychiatrist for the Community team at Kempsey District Hospital, part of Mid North Coast Local Health District.
Dates: 30 November 2026 to 28 February 2027
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
Remuneration:
- $2,700 per day, including weekday on call
- $2,000 per day for weekend and public holiday on call (via phone)
- VMO Claims submitted online via VMoney Web, per NSW Ministry of Health requirements
- Return airfares from any Australian city, capped at $450 return
- Accommodation provided for the full period, with the locum required to arrive the evening before the first contracted day and depart on the last evening or the following morning (pets cannot be accommodated)
- Hire car, capped at $50 per day all inclusive, or kilometre reimbursement via VMO Claim if you'd prefer to drive
