The Role

Our Sydney office is seeking an outstanding financial restructuring and insolvency Associate with 6 years’ plus PQE. Our Australian business reorganization and bankruptcy (BRR) practice focusses on complex domestic and cross-border restructuring transactions, and advises on market leading transactions. Our market leading BRR team consists of 100 plus lawyers globally, and in Australia currently consists of 6 professionals,



including the recent addition of Nick Dunstone Dunstone as a partner joining us as a leading global restructuring lawyer. We continue to look to grow the team with high quality and motivated lawyers.

Joining at this stage provides an excellent chance to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the practice, with significant exposure to partners, clients and high-quality domestic and international matters. Our global platform also provides the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across jurisdictions on complex cross-border transactions.

We are seeking candidates with

- Strong front-end financial restructuring and formal insolvency experience.
- Strong deal experience in complex cross border situations.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of matters and provide excellent client service;
- The ability to communicate confidently across the Firm, with a pragmatic, friendly, and down-to-earth approach
- A commitment to teamwork and mentoring our junior associates.
