Employment: Permanent Part Time

Remuneration: Hourly rate will be based on the successful applicant's skills, experience and qualifications

Availability: You must be available to work on the advertised roster and have flexibility to work additional weekdays and Saturdays when required to cover team leave and unexpected absences.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is not suitable for university students due to the availability and flexibility required.

About the role

We are looking for a driven and career-focused individual who enjoys working with people and is motivated to develop their skills.

As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for many patients and play an important role in creating a positive, welcoming experience. You will also support the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic and work closely with chiropractors, allied health practitioners and the wider team.

This role is suited to someone who is interested in building a long-term career in healthcare administration and patient services, with the opportunity to progress into a Senior Chiropractic Assistant position

Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

- Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional customer service in person and over the phone
- Manage patient appointments, payments,



health fund claims and general administration
- Process HICAPS Trinity transactions accurately
- Respond to emails, messages and telephone enquiries promptly and professionally
- Support chiropractors and allied health practitioners with day-to-day clinic operations
- Maintain accurate patient information and handle confidential records in line with privacy requirements
- Coordinate patient flow and help ensure appointments run smoothly
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional clinic environment
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and within required timeframes
- Work collaboratively with chiropractors, allied health practitioners, administration and management
- Remain calm and solution-focused when managing competing priorities in a busy clinic
- Develop a strong understanding of clinic services, practitioner procedures and patient care processes

What you will bring

- Previous customer service, administration or healthcare experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A qualified and confident telephone manner
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- A patient-focused approach and genuine interest in helping people
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Ability to learn new systems, software and processes
- Strong attention to detail when handling payments, appointments and patient information




- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle patient information appropriately
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport, as travel between clinic locations may be required
- An interest in chiropractic and allied health services
- A willingness to learn, develop and take on additional responsibilities over time
