JS Careers are seeking a Global Lead - Technology Audit for a leading financial markets business. The role will provide independent assurance across technology and risk management, with responsibility for planning and delivering global audits from initial scoping through to final reporting and remediation follow-up.

Please note, given the global nature of the role, the successful individual will be required travel approximately 25% of the time to global offices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the global Technology Audit engagements, setting the audit strategy, annual plan, methodology and risk-based coverage across the organisation’s technology environment.
- Oversee end-to-end technology audits across infrastructure, applications, cloud, cybersecurity, data, technology change, resilience, third-party technology and emerging technologies.
- Provide independent assurance and challenge over technology governance, risk management frameworks, control environments and the effectiveness of key technology controls.
- Engage with senior stakeholders globally, including Technology, Information Security, Risk, Compliance and Business leadership, communicating significant risks and audit findings clearly and commercially.




- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across Technology Audit, including the use of data analytics, automation and emerging technologies to enhance audit effectiveness.

Suitable candidates will possess:

- 7-10+ years’ experience across Technology Audit, IT Audit, Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, Information Security or a related discipline.
- Relevant skilled qualifications and frameworks, such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, CISM or CRISC, with knowledge of standards including COBIT, NIST and ISO 27001; financial services experience highly desirable.
- Broad technology expertise across areas such as infrastructure, applications, cloud, cybersecurity, data, technology transformation, operational resilience and emerging technology.
- Strong audit and risk capability, with demonstrated experience developing and delivering risk-based technology audit programmes within complex or highly regulated environments.
- Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executives, challenge constructively and translate complex technology issues into clear business and risk implications.
