Paratus Clinical is looking for a Full-Time Finance Manager to join our growing organisation and play a key role in leading our day-to-day finance operations, reporting and financial governance.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this is a broad, hands-on role combining financial management, reporting and compliance with business partnering and continuous improvement. You will work closely with leaders across the organisation, providing accurate financial information and insights to support effective decision-making and sustainable growth.

About the role

As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of our financial records and reporting and help ensure the Finance function operates effectively and efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Owning the month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting
- Preparing and analysing financial statements,



management reports and financial performance
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and financial modelling
- Managing statutory reporting, taxation and compliance obligations
- Maintaining strong internal controls, financial policies and procedures
- Overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including AP, AR, payroll, billing and general ledger activities
- Managing cash flow, banking, treasury and working capital
- Partnering with the CFO and senior leaders to provide financial insights and support business decisions
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the Finance team
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, automation and overall Finance efficiency

About you

You are an experienced finance professional who enjoys being hands-on while also looking at the bigger picture. You are comfortable taking ownership, working across multiple priorities and partnering with stakeholders across different areas of a business.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- CPA or CA qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior finance role,



including financial accounting and/or clinical trial financial management
- Strong financial and statutory reporting experience
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and statutory obligations
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Experience in healthcare, clinical research or professional services, multi-site organisations, clinical trial financial management, and systems such as Xero, Jedox, Realtime CTMS or Salesforce would be highly regarded, as would experience in finance transformation, automation, process improvement and supporting a growing organisation through financial planning and operational change.
