About the role

As our WHS & Wellbeing Business Partner, you'll embed yourself within an operational portfolio and become a trusted advisor to senior leaders. You'll provide practical, on the ground guidance across work health & safety, wellbeing, incident response, and risk management, supporting both people and systems to perform at their best. You'll be working in a values driven social enterprise, helping create safer environments for employees while supporting services that make a genuine difference in the community.

What you'll be doing

- Partnering with senior leaders, managers and HSRs to embed safe, sustainable work practices in our Child and Family Services Division
- Coaching leaders to strengthen communication, consultation, and WHS capability
- Proactively leading WHS risk management activities, from assessments through to effective controls
- Overseeing and supporting incident investigation and response, including notifiable incidents
- Driving continuous improvement across WHS and wellbeing systems and practices




- Acting as a calm, pragmatic voice in complex or sensitive issues - helping resolve challenges before escalation
- Supporting emergency planning and continuity of care initiatives across operational services

What you'll bring

- A tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety
- 3+ years' experience partnering with senior leaders in a WHS role
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and its practical application, ideally in care or human services environments
- Proven ability to influence, coach and build trust across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience leading or supporting incident investigations and risk reviews
- A balanced, pragmatic mindset with the ability to move beyond "black and white" compliance to what works in practice
