About The Role

We’re recruiting a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the IT Program Delivery Team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on, technically-focused role reporting to the Program Manager, with no direct reports. You’ll bring deep technical BA expertise to translate complex requirements into developer-ready artefacts, while working confidently across a broad range of business, architecture and delivery stakeholders to keep everyone aligned.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

- Lead workshops and technical design sessions, translating business needs into clear, implementable specifications for a range of stakeholders
- Map current and future state processes, identify gaps, and define system behaviours and integrations
- Produce developer-ready documentation including BRDs, FRDs, interface specs and solution designs
- Support agile delivery through epic refinement, story breakdown and backlog management in Jira
- Partner closely with architects, developers and testers, acting as a key technical liaison to ensure solutions are buildable and fit for purpose

Skills and Experience

- 8+ years' experience as a hands-on Technical Business Analyst in complex, enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for both business and technical audiences
- Full SDLC and Agile delivery experience, with strong Jira proficiency
- Proven experience producing technical documentation and diagrams using Mural, Miro and Visio
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or uplifting BA practice standards
- Unrestricted Australian work rights required
