Kohort Partners has been retained for the search of an experienced Operations Manager to join an established Australian financial and investment services group.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a rare leadership opportunity at the crossroads of digital assets and precious metals. You will run and grow the digital asset business incl. managing day to day operations across crypto brokerage, crypto-to-bullion swaps and tokenised metals.

We strongly prefer Brisbane based candidates, but are flexible for the right person.

What you'll be doing

Lead the crypto and tokenised gold/silver business units incl. running day to day operations

Navigate a fast-changing regulatory environment and partner with Compliance and Finance on AML/CTF, AUSTRAC and AFSL.

Own the P&L; and report monthly to the CEO and Board

Own the operations behind KYC, order processing, inventory management and liquidity partner relationships

Lead the client service team and set the culture for the function

Manage scam risk, market exposure,



and banking relationship integrity

About You

Experience in regulated crypto and/or precious metals operations, including AUSTRAC reporting

You don't need to be a blockchain engineer but have a solid grasp of crypto custody and tokenised assets

Strong financial literacy incl. P&L; ownership, budgets and cash flow control at a business unit level

Strong negotiations and relationship building skills
