You will play a key role in tendering and securing projects across offices, retail, education, health, and mixed-use developments ranging from $1M to $20M+ in electrical value.

You will play a key role in tendering and securing projects across offices, retail, education, health, and mixed-use developments ranging from $1M to $20M+ in electrical value.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and competitive electrical tenders for commercial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to develop detailed cost estimates
- Perform material take-offs, labour costing,



and subcontractor pricing analysis
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Identify risk, value engineering opportunities, and scope gaps during tender review
- Contribute to bid strategies and tender submissions
- Work closely with project delivery teams during handover to ensure estimate alignment
- Maintain and update cost databases and benchmarking information

About You

- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within a Tier 2 or solid mid-tier contractor
- Strong background in commercial construction projects
- Solid understanding of Australian electrical standards and construction methodologies
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Buildsoft, Benchmark, or similar)
- Solid analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
