Prestige Plants is looking for an ambitious sales leader to take charge of the commercial side of the business.

You will be one of only two senior leaders , reporting directly to the Director, with real authority over sales, major customers, pricing and commercial performance.

This is a chance to build a business as if it were your own .

The Role

You will:

Own the sales and gross-margin budget.

Lead and develop a team of four.

Personally manage major contractors and key accounts.

Drive strong year-on-year sales growth.

Manage complex projects from quotation through delivery.

Make key pricing and commercial decisions.

Handle major customer and project escalations.

Improve pipeline discipline, forecasting and sales execution.

This is a hands‑on leadership role. You will be close to the customers, close to the numbers and expected to make things happen.

About You

You are ambitious, commercially sharp and ready for more responsibility.

You may already lead a sales team, or you may be an exceptional major‑account salesperson ready to prove you can run one.

You will bring:

A strong record of profitable sales growth.

Experience with major contractors and complex commercial customers.

Strong pricing, negotiation and commercial judgement.

Understanding of major project delivery.

The ability to lead and develop salespeople.

High energy, urgency and follow-through.

Strong systems and analytical capability.

A genuine interest in plants, landscaping and the built workplace.

We care more about results and potential than years spent in senior titles .

The Opportunity

Prestige Plants operates more than 220 acres of nursery production and supplies major civil, infrastructure and landscaping projects.

You will have direct access to ownership, four direct reports, major customer responsibility and a clear commercial scorecard.

Remuneration

$170,000–$200,000 base + superannuation.

The budget will be ambitious.

Uncapped bonus begins only after budgeted sales and gross margin are achieved.

Strong performance WILL lead to strong remuneration.

Based in Kinglake north of Melbourne, Prestige Plants has 3 strategically located growing sites across Victoria and New South Wales, totalling over 150 acres of containerised stock from tubes right through to large advanced trees. The combination of these growing sites, our substantial stock holdings and our brokering service provides the capacity and capability for Prestige Plants to service any project, no matter what the size, in the shortest possible timeframe.

Now with over 50 staff, Prestige Plants is one of the largest growers in Victoria. Our services include complete plant supply, contract growing, brokering and direct to site delivery with our fully owned and managed fleet of 6 trucks making deliveries throughout Melbourne and Victoria every day.
